I was blown away by this diner’s incredible atmosphere and scrumptious fried chicken sandwich. The place is spotlessly clean, creating a welcoming vibe from the moment you step in. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Now, let's talk about the chicken sandwich – it's an absolute delight! Perfectly cooked and flavorful. If you're a fan of great food in a clean and cozy setting, this diner is a must-try. Highly recommended!
Food sooo yummy! The almond flour gluten free pancake is so good! Had the Miatake mushroom scramble and it’s very good! Their potatoes are mind blowing! Only down side is the wait time because the food is sooo good! The service is also good they are busy but very friendly and nice!
Kept walking by Eats Restaurants. Today I stopped in to check out the food. Service excellent. Everyone welcoming. The FOOD omg so good. Had eggs, potatoes, toast, chicken sausage. The potatoes especially perfectly flavored. Thank you!
I have been to this place before the renovation and ownership change and just had my first experience after the change and even though they have really made some nice changes to the decor, the food quality took a hit. The menus is no where near what it used to be. The food lacked flavor, and the scramble I ordered was runny and not hot in temperature at all. I did not finish my meal. I ordered a scramble with spinach and mushrooms with a side salad. They should say mixed greens instead of salad. I was expecting more veggies with my “salad”, but it is what it is. I feel the menus is overpriced for portion size. The old menus was way better and had way more options. This place is gentrified just like most of SF and had become a hipster haven. As a native San Franciscan, I feel this place has declined after the ownership change and the food lacked flavor. The highlight of my meal was the coffee and side of fruit. Now even though the server was attentive and made sure she took some money off the bill for my dissatisfaction, I feel that they could really take some pointers and even some menus items from the previous owner. My girlfriend and I were very excited for this place to open back up only to be disappointed with the food. I would not recommend after my second visit. There are better places in the Richmond district and sunset district that are easier on the pockets.
We came here on 12/17 at around 1:00PM. They were incredibly busy, and were handling customers quickly, and respectfully. It was a little too loud inside for us, so we opted to sit outside under their heaters. From what we saw inside and in our trips to bathroom, it was a decent atmosphere with lots of plants— but the music was just too loud and (IMO) off base for their brand. Anyways, the heaters kept us very warm and we like to people watch. The man who greeted us, I didn’t catch his name, was the best. He was so sweet and even moved us later on to get the both of us under the heater rather than one of us. He was friendly, and had a lovely attitude. The food was incredible. The dressing on the salad is light and tangy, perfect for brunch. Eggs were soft and cooked in olive oil. The pancakes are fluffy and quite filling. It’s served with real maple syrup which we really enjoyed. We also tried the crispy potatoes which went perfectly with their house made hot sauce. Please don’t leave without trying it! My girlfriend loved her breakfast sandwich also. We were very happy. Our server, Aili (It’s what was on the receipt) was quick and efficient. She was quite busy, and her demeanor made that clear. Every time she visited our table she looked like she desperately needed to get to the next thing, which is fine, but not exactly great customer service. I’m sure she meant no harm, and again she did everything well and we received everything but she was just not very friendly. The man working the floor alongside her was chatting with locals, checking in on everyone, and looked genuinely happy to be there. As servers, we know what to do and what to look for in a good place and Eats is definitely a solid 5.
Food was a 20/10- amazingly delicious!! The service was nice, friendly and super attentive! We went there on Sunday morning and were lucky to get a table, the place is really busy and if you try tue food you know exactly why. It was quite loud there Sonde the Style is also a little rustic - but the food was amazing! Definitely more than a hyped place, but really worth a visit!
Best breakfast I’ve had in a while! Our server Sam was great!!! The potato’s were incredibly flavorful and seasoned amazingly with fresh herds! The breakfast sandwich is messy but a must have! Highly recommend
AND they have outdoor seating so you can bring your fur baby!
Like a Phoenix from the flame the renewed “EATS” truly gets you back in the breakfast groove. The friendly staff and great food makes this a great stop. From the basic breakfast to a Thai chicken sandwich you will find something you like.
I’ve added it to my required rotation.
